§1. General Provisions

These Terms of Service govern the use of the HOMER application (hereinafter: "Application"), available at https://echo-homer2.abacusai.app. HOMER is a platform for secure exchange of encrypted one-time read messages using end-to-end encryption (AES-GCM 256-bit).

§2. Definitions

ONE-TIME READ: A message that can be read only once; after viewing, it is automatically and permanently deleted. ZERO-KNOWLEDGE: The operator does not have access to the content of messages (encryption occurs on the user's device). END-TO-END ENCRYPTION: Messages are encrypted on the sender's device and decrypted on the recipient's device.

§3. Rules of Use

The Application allows creating encrypted messages that are automatically deleted after reading. The encryption key is never sent to the server and is known only to the sender and recipient. Messages are stored in encrypted form with a maximum retention period of 7 days. After the message is read or the deadline expires, the data is irreversibly deleted.

§4. PRO Version

The PRO version offers: Premium themes (Essence, Cryptic), File attachments, No advertisements, Priority support. PRO licenses are purchased through the Stripe payment system and are non-refundable.

§5. Prohibited Actions

It is prohibited to: Send illegal content, spam, or malware; Attempt to break encryption or bypass security mechanisms; Use the Application for illegal purposes; Abuse PRO features.

§6. Liability

The operator is not responsible for: Content of messages created by users; Loss of messages due to user actions; Unavailability of the service due to force majeure. The operator makes reasonable efforts to ensure service security but does not guarantee absolute protection.

§7. Advertisements (FREE Version)

The FREE version displays advertisements in dedicated slots. Ads are managed by the administrator and do not track user behavior. Users can remove ads by purchasing a PRO license.

§9. Changes to Terms

The operator reserves the right to change these Terms. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
